The event was held yesterday at the Heathrow Country Club in Heathrow, Florida. The fundraiser, headlined by U.S. Congressman Matt Gaetz, featured a number of high rankings officials in the Sunshine State.

Following the reception, Anderson discussed the success of the event on Facebook.
"The campaign kickoff fundraiser was a total success with a massive turnout!! 117 people attended the event and we raised over $15,000," Anderson said.“ I would like to thank everyone who came to show their support and contributed to our campaign. We are well on our way with strong support behind our campaign,”
Anderson, 36, has already established a career serving both his community and his country.
Prior to serving as Supervisor of Elections, he was the Chief Investigative Officer for the Seminole County Tax Collector. Anderson also worked in law enforcement, serving as Deputy Sheriff and Background Investigator with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office
After finishing high school, he enlisted in the United States Army less than two months before the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He was deployed to Afghanistan and oversaw security details focused on clearing the forward operating Bagram airfield and providing armed escorts for Afghanistan locals providing services to the base.
Anderson has been married to his wife Ebony for 20 years. He is the father of one son, C.J., and two daughters, Christiana and Christian. Chris and his family are members at Church of Christ.
