Winter Garden resident Raleigh “Lee” Steinhauer announced he is running as a Republican for Florida's House District 44.
Lee, a small business owner, attorney, government affairs professional and an affordable housing and school concurrency advocate, is deeply involved in the community and has served on numerous government and community related boards and committees in Central Florida. He currently serves on the Orange County Housing for All Task Force and was appointed by County Commissioner Betsy VanderLey to the Orange County Charter Review Commission. Formerly, Lee served as a board member on the Seminole County Schools Business Advisory Board.
“I am a conservative, who believes in low taxes, secure borders, free market solutions and strongly supporting our military and veterans. I am also a problem solver with the ability to bring people together and a passionate and effective advocate for our schools and affordable housing.” said Lee. “Those are the skills and values I will take to Tallahassee to represent the citizens of District 44.”
