Wakulla County Looks to Become Second Amendment Sanctuary

Jordan Kirkland ()                  The Florida Report ()          November 6th, 2019

A Wakulla County commissioner submitted a proposed resolution on Wednesday to declare the county a Second Amendment Sanctuary.

Ralph Thomas, a county commissioner and Chairman of Wakulla's Republican Party, brought forth the resolution today, just days after Lake County became the first Second Amendment Sanctuary county in Florida.

"This resolution reaffirms my oath to support and defend the Constitution, specifically against attacks on the Second Amendment and the people's God-given right to defend themselves," Thomas told The Florida Report.
